London Diaries: Graffiti Spotting at Harrow Skate Park
I visited Harrow Skate Park today yesterday for some walking and talking with a dear friend and it brought back vivid memories of my first time there, three years ago.
The year was 2006. A friend had wanted help documenting graffiti in London for a project of hers and I had just bought a Nikon D80 digital SLR camera. Thinking it would be great practice for me to get to know the camera better, I volunteered for the assignment. After a day spent together trawling Brick Lane, I geared up for a solo mission to the skate park where it was rumoured that a bounty of murals and wall art awaited me. I wasn’t disappointed.
Have a look at my photographic haul below and you’ll know why.

If you’re into graffiti-spotting and happen to find yourself in London, don’t miss going to Harrow Skate Park. It might not be around for long!
[Update: A reporter from Harrow Observer came across this post a few weeks after I published it and that led to this.]
really good pics. Awesome, and you have captured them well.
Thanks, man!
